Caring for Creation
Preacher: Dr Ian Acworth & Rev Kevin Kim / Readings: 2 Cor 5:17-21
During the month of August, we will be thinking of how we support one another as a community and develop our fellowship. For the first three weeks of August, we are looking at three different areas of caring – Caring for Creation, Caring for Each Other and Caring for Ourselves. On Sunday, we will explore how practically we as Christians could do something to take meaningful and effective steps towards a better tomorrow for the whole planet. Ian has been a long advocate for caring for God’s creation and has developed four Bible studies on the Care of Creation. He will help us as Christians to reflect on the world’s values of individual consumerism and to discuss our responsibility in promoting justice and sustainability both locally and globally.
