Make your own Poppy

Make your own Poppy

On Sunday 26th April, the Sunday closest to ANZAC day, we will be in all three worship services be acknowledging those who have served and have a moment of reflection and give thanks for their sacrifice.

As part of our reflection we are encouraging everyone to hold a home-made poppy. There are hundreds of ideas of how to make a poppy on the internet but we have included two different ideas below:

“Colour and Cut” home-made poppy.

A simple poppy which you can print, colour-in and cut out for your use in our Sunday worship ANZAC reflection. There are six poppies each sheet.

3-Dimensional home-made poppy.

A slightly more complicated poppy which involves you folding and cutting some red paper and shaping it into 3D poppy for your use in our Sunday worship ANZAC reflection. Note: you will need to have red paper.
