Christmas Worship Services

Christmas Worship Services

Christmas Eve and Christmas Day have always been a huge time of celebration at TUC. Below are the recordings of our Worship Services for 2021.

The main feature of our Christmas Eve worship will be a humorous play called “The Christmas that goes Wrong” performed by many of our young people and young adults. The play tells the story of a amateur drama company who are trying to retell the classic Christmas story in a local production but as the title suggests … everything goes wrong with hilarious results. Admit the chaos and laughter, the director and actors discovering the core of Christmas is really about. We will also have some musical items, a great short talk about what to do if we have a “messy Christmas” and we will be finishing our time with a special rendition of “Silent Night”.

Our 7:30am Traditional worship service is a short 40 minute Christmas service featuring traditional carols, a Christmas bible reading, prayers and a short talk from our minister Phil.

9am Christmas Day Worship

The 9am Christmas Day worship is where we celebrated the birth of Jesus in a way which is full of life and love. We had some Christmas music with our Christmas band, “show and tell” (a chance for people to show off their Christmas presents), a creative talk for the kids (which has some of the biggest props Phil has ever made), some special Christmas prayers, and our minister Phil will be speaking about how Christmas is the moment when we can come near to Jesus and each other.
