Christmas is a time which is full of hope, joy, peace and love … and this year we are celebrating that we find all of this is Jesus – the Light of the World. We invite you to come along to Turramurra Uniting for a joyous celebration of Jesus’ birth in the many Christmas services and events that we are running.

Special Events in the lead up to Christmas
During December we have a number of events to help us get into the Christmas experience including our Christmas Sunday Funday (with the kids zoo petting farm), our traditional Carols and Lessons as well as our Advent worship services which will be exploring how we can be more open to the Spirit of Christmas.

Turramurra Community Carols
Sunday 14th December. 5:30-7:30pm. Cameron Park, Turramurra
Come and join us for a great night of fun and community carol singing and experience the true meaning of Christmas. The night includes
- Sausage Sizzle and Drinks
- Activities for kids and families – including Jumping Castle
- Pre-carols entertainment
- Carol Singing with our band from 6:30pm
- A visit from Santa

Light of the World / Countdown to Christmas
Christmas can be a magical time which stirs our imagination. This year we are putting together an awesome kids and youth program in the week leading up to Christmas called “Light of the World” were we will have heaps of opportunities to have fun and experience the things that make Christmas special. There is a 3 day “Countdown to Christmas” program for kids, dinner and night activity for young people and an opportunity to be part of the creative and humorous Christmas Eve Pantomime.

Christmas Eve and Day Worship
The highlight of our Christmas is the change for the whole community to come together for our Christmas Eve Spectacular – a night of creativity and a very funny play about Christmas, all to help us celebrate the birth of Jesus. And on Christmas Day we will have TWO services – 7:30am and 9am – with music, sharing, an amazing kids talk and show and tell.
