Our Church is having an appeal for those affected by the NSW drought. We have been moved by the stories and struggles of the farmers and others in rural towns as they cope with the lack of rain. Our church has an on-going relationship with two rural Uniting Churches – Cranbury UCA and Hillston UCA. In conversations, we have been told that one of the best ways that we can support people who are struggling is to supply some VISA cards – to be spent on specific needs and also to be spent locally.
So we are asking for donations. All donations will be converted into Visa cards and be sent to the leaders of Hillston and Cranbury UCA churches to distribute directly to farmers and others who are affected by the drought.
We thank you for any donation. (Unfortunately these donations are not tax-deducible.)
