Turramurra Uniting Church will be holding its annual Workshop for infants and primary age children (Kindergarten – Year 6) over three days at the Turramurra Avenue Worship Centre, preparing for the Christmas Eve Musical Service.
Christmas is a busy time. Do we allow ourselves and our families, time to reflect on the true meaning of Christmas — the celebration of the birth of Jesus Christ?
At Turramurra Uniting Church, every year, we hold a service on Christmas Eve, incorporating a musical performed by the children for their families.
In preparation for this service, we run a workshop for school-age children in the days prior. The musical is scripted by people from the church and allows all children attending the workshop an opportunity to share their gifts of dancing, singing and acting with their families on Christmas Eve.
The craft, props and decorations created during the workshops will also be displayed at the service. Those attending our Christmas Eve Service can expect a fabulous time, celebrating the birth of Christ in a unique community experience.
The Christmas Eve Service is a children’s service – presented by the children for their families and friends.
