smallgroupsBeing a member of a small group can help you to be more connected to other people in our congregation. Small group meetings allow deeper communication than is possible on a Sunday. Sunday worship is vital to the life of our church and to us personally, but as a small group member you have the opportunity to share and grow together in Christ – to build community together.

Small group members can provide encouragement and support for each other as we care and minister to one another, learn from God’s word together, serve together and reach out into the community together. In small groups we can create community.

At Turramurra we have about 22 small groups. Some meet monthly, some fortnightly and some weekly. Some groups concentrate on Bible study, others prayer or fellowship and other groups are task oriented. Some groups are just for women or men and others are mixed.

Small group members can walk with you to keep you growing in Christ. Let us “spur one another on towards love and good deeds” and “encourage one another” Hebrews 10:24,25.

If you would like to join a small group, create a small group or just find out more information.
